Anything that matter, won’t matter!

You, are the centre of attention, crave to have a 1000 followers on twitter and as many as 500 friends on facebook. The one thing that you probably are not interested is actually getting awake of your indolence and act before you like or comment on a post that intrigues you, emotionally, helplessly and concurrently. We see many posts, these days and articles over the internet and mostly talking about Badaun Rape and Murder Case and what we can do as a person to protect ourselves and family before hand. But, do we actually need to punish the convicted and culprits and always have sympathy for the alleged rapist? Yes, it is necessary to punish, wake up and raise voices. Yes, I am specifically talking about, YOU. You never were a part of it (I’m sure, because you are reading this). You do not know how is it like to become a criminal or a victim.

You always talk about changing society and bringing a change, but just by flicking channels on the TV screen or clicking on various links over the internet doesn’t help those victims, at all! There is an absolute dearth of social media indulgence or inappropriate use of social media. People, mostly youth only talks about the topic that are focussed to them, their family, their friends and even you can have a chat with their pet on facebook (yes, they are intelligent enough). Just after a fortnight or so, the rape case or anything that rose up will go down the hill without affecting anybody in particular. Anything will shock the nation and anything won’t matter.

You cannot be a part of everything but be a part of what invokes your soul and give yourself in for the worst is still awaited and yet to be seen.

Like Politics, Doped Media

“Politics is that swamp of strategical field that includes, survival over prestige” -Anonymous

Niira Radia being accompanied by security personnel.

After so much of thinking and spending almost a week flipping pages through OPEN Magazine, The HINDU, Reuters and browsing their web content over Radia Tapes. There was nothing except the cobwebs of lethargic comments and accusations. This whole scenario of Tapes and fallacious statements were made to set A. Raja (The then Telecommunications Minister) into the Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh’s Cabinet.

Niira Radia

Niira Radia, who is a Political lobbyists, also runs a Public Relations firm, known as Vaishnavi Communications, while being investigated by Central Bureau of investigation (CBI) as was authorized by the Home Ministry, Indian Income Tax Department (ITD), in a possible case of Money laundering and tax evasion. She has been thereby accused of pumping up the influence to appoint A. Raja as a Telecom Minister as it might help her getting the broker deals in the 2G spectrum sale, which A. Raja is crying foul of, now.

The tapes expounds of Radia, attempting to use media professionals and the clienteles of her own PR company, including, Barkha Dutt, Ratan Tata, Vir Sanghvi, Kanimozhi and few others. The tapes allegedly were leaked out from the department of Income Tax and allegations were made on Barkha Dutt was in a support of the corrupt politics. Barkha in the Audio Tapes released by ITD found asking, Radia, in a telephonic conversation with her, “Tell me what should I tell them? (—congress)”. In the meantime, she was facilitating meetings and conversations between, DMK (a South Indian Political party) and Congress on the request of Niira radia. Although, Barkha posted clarifications on allegation against her in the NDTV website arguing, “For the journalism to be effective, journalists meet variety of people in the process of news making and the source sometimes do need to be convinced for the same, in a different manner”. Though, not in any case she acted upon, as the government will know, stated Barkha Dutt.

All eyes on her, Barkha Dutt

After the news outraged for couple of months and went not stormy for a while then, People on social networking sites angered on the Journalistic practices by Barkha Dutt and other senior Journalists. She responded people with a composed sense and tried to retain her faith and credibility, “it’s beneath contempt” as she revert tweets.

Does not this indicate, albeit, imprecisely that Indian Media is growing against all odds. If plagiarism of any kind are not to be believed. Niira Radia and the Tapes have almost exposed how Politics and Journalism works and processes. The X-Tapes is not this much, it has all-encompassing, from politics to media and hence restricted here for only Radia and Barkha’s indulgence.

Public Views, Lutyens Shoes

“Do you know, why Delhi is called Lutyens Delhi?”

As we embrace the activists like Anna Hazare and few realistic politicians for their welfare indulgence into the ombudsman’s (lokpal’s) swamp we take no considerations to the MPs who hold the dark intent as a principle of them. They make the ignorance of public to the level where they get the modest amount of salary shown and what that is unaccountable goes oblivion in the showcase. Our Parliamentarians extracts the most out of what we call Money accountable to Public. Most of the MPs live in or on the vicinity at Lutyens’ Delhi which has the gross estimated value of real estate of Rs 300-400 crore depending on the size of the bungalow. In Delhi as a state we have 77 Ministers including those of state are so capable that they can even hire a servant for spoon feeding and cleaning their toilets (-literally, where it comes from). India as a country still counts 37.7% of population below poverty line (BPL) and we have more than 540 Lok Sabha Ministers and 250 Rajya Sabha Ministers playing all in multimillion currency and can be said perfectly capable of feeding those below poverty line till their death and still holds a tidy sum of a million.

The new statistics shows the increment of Government bureaucrats. Six lakhs per annum is the salary of an Indian MP which is in accounts and the bungalow which grows behind is what the money needs to be in accounts. There is no Parliamentary drawback or system limitations, all in all the corrupt Ministers grew up to behold this nature when an American bureaucrats draws an ample annual salary of $1,74,000 (Rs 93 lakhs) and yet lives in homes which cost almost third of the fractions Indian MPs’ bungalows worthy of. Where is the money growing and how far will it reach to the corrupt standards? Questions never become an answer in parliament. An MP brings multi-ideological standards of his own to become so-and-so. He spends around 7-10 crores on elections to win it before whining and bragging out the same and a successful MLA spends around 2-3 crores all on a state assembly election. By all procedure successfully passed giving these MPs right of expenditure in some other sense. Now when all the revenue is collected from Public funds, National Highway Authority of India, Airports, Railways, Transports and Municipal department. The audited revenue on utilization lies in vain before the public and eaten by the corrupt society of MPs and Bureaucracies.

Lokpal brought the debate of empowering of ‘Elections Commission’ to audit electoral expenses on a continuous basis and make all the funds of public accountable on the expense sheet. Should it provide the power to de-register and de-recognize the blunderer political parties which play seminal roles in digging the black money out. There must be a tough regulatory bodies which instigates the policies to investigate the profession of each and look into the matter deeply and not commiserate the deal with money.
